Today’s News for mark Lodge @ The Invictus Games
WOW, the opening ceremony was amazing. Sat to the right of the stage was:
- Prince Harry
- The First Lady Michelle Obama
- Morgan Freeman
- Ex President Bush
- Mark Lodge (really???)
This was accompanied by music from James Blunt and all finished with a fantastic firework display.
The atmosphere here today is amazing it’s difficult to explain the feeling.
As for the Athletics, well it’s a rest day today most of the throws athletes smashed Pbs again in qualifying just waiting for results today to see who’s in the finals tomorrow.
The GB seated volleyball team, Rugby team, and basketball team all undefeatable at the moment. Our archery team through to gold medal rounds, and also the swimming team. Our men’s relay team looks like it’s made up of 4 of the fastest men in the world, that’s one to watch on Wednesday. Nearly forgot, one of our smallest women took bronze in Power lifting this morning.
